Individual Apple Crumble with Butter Olive Oil
This warming single-serving treat is ready in less than 30 minutes but still boasts all the comforting, warm flavour you want. Our Butter Olive Oil makes for a rich crumble without any added cholesterol. Top it with a spoonful of ice cream or yogurt and dig in!
Individual Apple Crumble with Butter Olive Oil

Ingredients

1 Large apple, halved and cored

1 Tbsp. Brown sugar

¼ Cup rolled oats

Pinch of cinnamon

Pinch of salt

1 Tbsp. Butter Olive Oil
Directions
Set the oven to 375°F. Place apple halves in a heatproof dish, cut side up.
Mix together the oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and sea salt. Once combined, add the Butter Olive Oil and mix until crumbly. Evenly divide crumble mixture on top of the apple halves.
Cover the dish and bake for 15 minutes, or until the apples are bubbling. Uncover and bake until the crumble is golden brown, about 5 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let rest for at least 10 minutes before serving. If desired, serve with a scoop of ice cream or caramel sauce.
Recipe Note
Using olive oil instead of butter makes this recipe easy to put together. Try swapping the butter olive oil for Blood Orange Olive Oil or for a more unique combination our Wild Rosemary Olive Oil.
