Chipotle Olive Oil and Chocolate Balsamic Chili
The Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar in this chili adds a great underlying flavour and enhances the flavours of the meat while the Chipotle Olive Oil gives it a delicious smokey heat.

Ingredients

2 Large onions
-
2 Tbsp. Chipotle Olive Oil

1 lb. Ground beef

½ Cup Dark Chocolate Balsamic

6 Tomatoes, diced

4 Cups assorted canned beans

1½ Cups tomato juice

2 Tbsp. Chili powder
-
Ground black pepper
-
Sea salt
-
2 Tsp. Smoked paprika

1 Tsp. Ground cumin
Directions
Dice the onions and sauté in the Chipotle Olive Oil in a large stock pot over medium heat until translucent.
Add the ground beef and begin to brown it. Once the meat is broken up and beginning to brown, add the Dark Chocolate Balsamic
Cook until the juices have almost evaporated and the meat is evenly browned. Add the tomatoes, beans, tomato juice, chili powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Bring the mixture to a boil. turn down the heat to medium-low, and simmer, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes.
Slow Cooker
Dice and sauté the onions, same as above. Add the ground meat and begin to brown it. Once the meat is broken up and beginning to brown, add the balsamic and season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook until the juices have almost evaporated and the meat Is evenly browned. Transfer the beef to a slow cooker and add the tomatoes, beans, tomato juice, chili powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin. Stir to combine. Cook on low for 6 hours.
